Since 1933, Lacoste has been a huge player in the French fashion game, founded by tennis player René Lacoste - nicknamed The Crocodile. Originally manufacturing revolutionary tennis shirts for Lacoste himself to wear, the brand soon moved into fashion and casualwear and shot to fame with the help of designer Christophe Lemaire.
